Giprotyumenneftegaz

Giprotyumenneftegaz (Muravlenko Tyumen Oil and Gas Design, Research and Development Institute, GTNG) is one of the leading Russian R & D centers with integrated oilfield designing for oil & gas.

Giprotyumenneftemash was established in Tyumen in 1964 and has been a part of the HMS Group since 2010.

Their projects were used to develop over 200 oil, gas and gas-condensate fields including field pipelines construction in permafrost areas in Tyumen Region, Krasnoyarsk Krai and Yakutia. The largest projects include development of Samotlor, Fedorovo, Mamontovo, Priobskoye and other Russian oilfields.

Besides integrated oil & gas field development they also provide customized facilities and systems design specializing in the engineering research, project documentation analysis and expert evaluation, and new technologies R & D for oil & gas.

GTNG is tremendously experienced in complex oil & gas infrastructure objects designing including the following:

  • Mainline and field pipelines
  • Gas turbine power plants
  • Water intakes
  • Central processing facilities
  • Oil refineries, including equipped with heater de-emulsifiers
  • Gas lift compressor stations
  • Multiphase pumping stations

Giprotyumenneftegaz works closely with oil & gas equipment manufacturers, other R & D centers and some of the largest Russian and international oil companies. Together with subcontractors, they have developed and approved a series of regulations and guidelines for pipeline, road and other facility construction over marshes, weak soils and permafrost. The center has also developed and approved a number of structural and technology solutions helping prevent environmental pollution.

Their quality management system meets ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 and certified by UKAS (Great Britain), Bureau VERITAS and ANAB (USA).
