HMS Group began the production of pumps for the project for expansion of the Krasnodar thermal power plant.

HMS Group began the production of pumps for the project for expansion of the Krasnodar thermal power plant and construction of a power unit with a capacity of 410 mW. The order for pumping equipment is performed under the contract of the united trading company of HMS Group, Hydromashservice JSC, with the general contractor of the expansion project of E4 Group OJSC. The contract provides for a comprehensive supply of feed, condensate, mainline and other pumps in Q1 2011.

  

The pumping equipment is manufactured at the production facility of Nasosenergomash, which is a member of the Group, in compliance with modern technical requirements for economic efficiency, seismicity and other important technical parameters.

The project for expansion of the Krasnodar TPP (the customer is YuGK-TGK-8 OJSC, a member of LUKOIL Group, the general contractor of construction is E4 Group), provides for installation of a combined cycle plant with a capacity of 410 mW in Q1 2011. The project was developed with due regard to the need of the region to increase both electrical and heating capacity of the power plant by 220 Gcal, which will enable heating of additional 200,000 sq.m. of residential area. "The expansion of the Krasnodar TPP aims to satisfy the needs of the Krasnodar Territory in power and heating supply for the benefit of economic development of the region including the preparation for the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi. Installation of modern equipment will allow decreasing the environmental impact of the power plant and reduce the releases of greenhouse gases, which is essential for a resort area", said the President of LUKOIL OJSC, Vagit Alekperov.
